16.12 Selected Endorsements

Voluntary Compensation Endorsement

This endorsement extends Workers' Compensation benefits to employees who are not required to be covered under a state's Workers' Compensation laws. It is commonly used to provide voluntary coverage for agricultural workers and domestic employees.

The endorsement must identify the class of employees covered and the state where they work. Covered employees must also accept the voluntary coverage and waive their right to sue the employer for workplace injuries covered under the endorsement.
